Claire Hesse is a National Certified Counselor, Louisiana Licensed Professional Counselor, and Louisiana Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual adult and couples' counseling at her private practice location in Metairie, Louisiana.  After working as a classroom teacher for 17 years, Mrs. Hesse obtained her Louisiana professional counselor's license in 1996.  She worked for Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority and LSU Medical Center Institute of Law and Psychiatry providing mental health services for the Juvenile Court, and later for the Jefferson Parish District Attorney as a pre-trial diversion counselor.  Mrs. Hesse is qualified according to Louisiana statutes to conduct court-ordered child custody mediation, custody evaluations, and serve as a Parenting Coordinator.  She has been qualified as an expert witness in custody matters in Jefferson, Orleans, St. Tammany, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, Terrebone, and Lafourche parishes.  Mrs. Hesse has been a presenter of Loyola Law School's Continuing Legal Education 40-hour Divorce Mediation training seminar since 1994.  She served on the Trinity Counseling and Training Center board of directors for 4 years, as clinical chair for two years,
